Higher Level Learning Assistant (HLLA) - Maths

The successful Higher Level Learning Assistant will support Teachers within the Maths department to ensure that pupils engage more effectively with their learning and help increase levels of achievement through appropriate provision. This is a great opportunity to combine mentoring skills whilst working in a supportive environment. They will also teach small groups.

be able to demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies
be well organised and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
have the ability to engage constructively with and relate to a wide range of young people from different backgrounds
possess excellent communication skills, at all levels

The City of Peterborough Academy was opened in September 2013 by Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) after a £13.8m capital build. We were also 'runners up' at the 2020 National SEN awards for National Most Inclusive Practice.
