Full Job Description
- Teach History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach A-Level History for the right candidate.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the school's objectives and national standards.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic development and achievement.
- Utilize assessment data to inform your teaching, address learning gaps, and offer individual support to students.
- Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the department and school.
- Participate in the broader school community, supporting extracurricular activities and school events.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). - Experience teaching History in secondary schools.
- A solid understanding of the national curriculum for History.
- A Bachelor's degree in History or a related field (desirable).
