Full Job Description

  • Teach History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach A-Level History for the right candidate.
  • Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the school's objectives and national standards.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic development and achievement.
  • Utilize assessment data to inform your teaching, address learning gaps, and offer individual support to students.
  • Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the department and school.
  • Participate in the broader school community, supporting extracurricular activities and school events.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching History in secondary schools.
  • A solid understanding of the national curriculum for History.
  • A Bachelor's degree in History or a related field (desirable).
