The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., An opportunity has arisen for a successful candidate to join our busy patient focused team within Facilities Housekeeping Department, based at one of our Community Clinics, Rhondda Taff Ely Region. The position available will support a working routine of Monday to Friday.
The role will support maintaining cleanliness standards across the Health Board in line with National Standards of Cleanliness for NHS Wales and support Infection prevention and control.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be allocated to a ward or department area, or work as part of the Rapid Response and Additional Cleaning team. This team supports the housekeeping service by providing a pre-determined programme of additional cleaning activities using designated equipment and providing a rapid response to infection outbreak situations in accordance to instruction from the housekeeping supervisor and the Infection Prevention and Control team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
