Full Job Description

Working in our supported housing service, our priority is to provide a safe, compassionate, nurturing, and supportive environment
that facilitates young people and adults, aged 18-35 years, to have positive outcomes and fulfil their potential.

As a Housing Duty Worker, you will be the first contact point for our residents. You will be the key hub to our operations,
provide excellent customer services while being adaptable to meet the needs of a diverse and dynamic resident population in a busy
accommodation building and for transitionary properties across the local area.

You will be able to positively influence our young people and adults by taking a calm, empathetic, non-judgmental standpoint to
diffuse situations, resolve conflicts and support any queries our residents may have. By effectively sign-posting to relevant
colleagues and 3rd party organisations, you will see the demonstrable difference you have made.

This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service. We
