Full Job Description

We have an excellent development opportunity for a HR admin lead to support our people team at NHFT. The HR admin team plays a crucial role by carrying out administrative duties to support the delivery of a customer focused HR service.

The post holder will be the first point of contact for enquiries for the team and will be expected to work on their own initiative., The post holder will lead/supervise the HR admin team to ensure timely completion of priority tasks, and delegate work where appropriate. They will provide direct PA support to the Director of Workforce and provide an administrative service to the HR team, including deputy HR director and HR business partners.

We are looking for someone who is able to work on their own initiative, prioritise and organise their own workload and communicate effectively with staff of all levels within the organisation to resolve problems and queries, provide advice and guidance and know when to escalate to senior staff.

NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools.We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
