Full Job Description

The OUH SupplyChain Team is looking for an enthusiastic and diligent Stock Controller for the busy JR Theatres Dept.

This role is vital to the effective running of the Theatre Dept and it's wide range of Clinical Specialities. Responsible for maintaining, sourcing and re-ordering a wide range of Clinical Consumables, this is a key role within a busy Dept. Excellent Communication skills are essential, problem-solving skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are required., An operating theatres Stock Controller assumes responsibility for maintaining, rotating, checking and ordering consumable surgical material supplies for a variety of theatre specialties working within the theatre department.

Experience of working in a material management capacity is desirable, although training will be provided. A proven track record of intermediate level (or higher) computer literacy is required to manage theelectronic materials management systems as well as an ability to demonstrate initiative and work unsupervised.
