We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader in adult social care to oversee the service areas of Learning Disabilities and Mental Health, working within Section 75 (s75) integrated services. This is a unique opportunity to shape our approach, champion innovation, and ensure we deliver high-quality, integrated support for Hackney's residents with complex needs arising from a learning disability or mental health condition.

As Deputy Head of Service, you will bring strategic leadership and problem-solving skills to this high-impact role, focusing on partnership and collaboration within integrated services to support residents in leading safe, healthy, and independent lives., You will hold a relevant professional qualification, alongside recent and relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD). We are looking for a senior manager who leads by example, with a strong foundation in social care practice, a strengths-based approach, and a commitment to intersectionality and anti-racism. You'll have in-depth knowledge of key legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other relevant frameworks, and you'll bring a collaborative, transparent approach to problem-solving within our s75 integrated services.
