Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Performing Arts lecturer for 14 hours per week from March 2025 with specialism in singing and Musical Theatre, who will be teaching on Level 2 and 3 vocational performance courses and will also have capacity to teach Higher Education.

Applicants will join a committed and thriving team within The Bay Theatre and Studios at Weymouth College. The successful applicant will have responsibility for both teaching of performance skills and the direction of student productions.

The role also requires individuals to support students in the occasional management and running of the Theatre Box office at performance events. We welcome applications from individuals with a strong team ethic, who are able to nurture and inspire the next generation of performers.

Knowledge of current industry practice is essential, and relevant recent experience is desirable.
