Lecturer in Performing Arts

We are looking for a Lecturer in Performing Arts to join us at Tresham College. As a Lecturer you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels
Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
Managing students' learning and provide a high quality learning experience.
Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.

Professional vocational training in a relevant subject
English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent
Recent experience as a teacher, trainer, instructor or workshop facilitator
Professional/ industry experience
Experience of working constructively to achieve team objectives and deadlines
Experience of using IT and a willingness to develop multimedia approaches to learning
Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing
Responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and for raising any concerns.
£31,000 per annum. DOE and Qualification.
