Full Job Description

The post will have components of general radiology, including plain film reporting, CT, Ultrasound and MRI. Each department undertakes a range of interventional image-guided procedures including non-vascular interventions including CT and US guided biopsies, PEG insertion and drainages of abscesses.

There has never been a more exciting time to join us. East Kent is looking to appoint four new consultants across its major sites at Kent and Canterbury Hospital, Canterbury, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate and William Harvey Hospital, Ashford. With Trust Board support for an optimisation and improvement programme to be delivered over the next two years, based on clinician engagement and clinical leadership. You will have the opportunity to influence this programme.

This is a successful department with over 40 Consultant Radiologist's.

We provide all the key services that you would expect in one of the largest Acute Trust in the NHS. Including surgical, medical, obstetric, paediatric and gynaecological services. William Harvey Hospital is a head and neck/max-facial centre, and QEQM hospital a gynae oncology centre., We are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with three acute hospitals and community sites serving a local population of around 700,000. We also provide specialist services for Kent and Medway.

£105,504 to £139,882 a year pro rata, per annum, Full-time, Part-time, Job share, Flexible working, Compressed hours, Term time hours, Annualised hours
