Maintenance Operative

You will carry out routine maintenance on a range of Trust properties across the Stockport area. Reporting directly to the Estates Management Team, you will have basic knowledge of building and mechanical services.

The postholder will be employed to carry out maintenance work on non-complex engineering and building issues appropriate to their skills throughout Stockport NHS Foundation Trust premises comprising mainly of the Stepping Hill Hospital site.

With a maintenance works background, you will need to possess effective written and oral communication skills, be an enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and flexible manner.

You will be required to work rostered overtime and participate in the On-Call rota for inclement weather using the Estates vehicles as required., The postholder will be employed on maintenance work on non-complex engineering and building issues appropriate to their skills throughout Stockport NHS Foundation Trust premises comprising mainly Stepping Hill Hospital
