Full Job Description

To assist with the supervision of the restructuring and recovery process through from planning to review and completion.,

  • Manage a portfolio of insolvency cases and ensure cases are efficiently and proactively progressed.
  • If suitably qualified/experienced, participate in restructuring advisory, work from time to time.
  • Liaison with office-holder and other Evelyn Partners staff where appropriate to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant case issues.
  • Ensure case staff are briefed and motivated in order to complete cases efficiently.
  • Review and supervise staff work and comment constructively on their performance.
  • Provide training to staff through on-the-job experience.
  • Ensure all work is reviewed, and that files are completed to a regulatory-compliant state, suitable for review.
  • Identify opportunities where we may be able to provide further services.
  • Assist the office-holder in ensuring that stakeholder needs are met and that the range of our services is extended where appropriate. Where possible, the service-level expectations of stakeholders should be exceeded.
  • Opportunity to attend business development / marketing events where appropriate.
  • Review statutory documents for compliance with Insolvency regulations and relevant standards.
  • Prepare case reviews and brief office-holders on work carried out and case issues.
  • Manage portfolio WIP and debtors to ensure lock-up is minimised

    Ideally be either a qualified accountant or JIEB.
  • Substantial experience of corporate insolvency (administrations and liquidations) is necessary. Experience of LPA receiverships is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of insolvency legislation and other statutory requirements.
  • Quick to learn/adapt to new procedures/situations and able to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to organise and to be able to work on several different assignments at one time.
