Full Job Description

  • Support senior communications officers with delivering internal and external communications projects
  • Support senior management with communicating to the workforce via newsletters, intranet and emails
  • Working closely with HR and Organisational Development to support delivering workforce engagement programmes e.g. all colleague briefings
  • Writing for different audiences and for a variety of different internal and external communications media (intranet, email, teams, print, social media, newsletters etc)
  • Provide a customer friendly 'account handling' role on communications and marketing projects

    We're looking for an apprentice to join our ambitious Communications Team to help to deliver the council's priorities and initiatives to colleagues, residents, businesses and partners. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a mix of specialisms such as campaigns, news and media relations, and content for a range of audiences.
