We take full advantage of the education funding from HEE and ensure this is used across all staff groups and included where needed most, at the frontline., The post holder will be a core member of the multi-disciplinary team, participating in the provision of on-going assessments, care planning, treatment and support of people with serious and enduring mental health problems and people in crisis. He/she will particularly ensure access to and availability of mental health nursing skills to users of mental health services and their families.

Each of our directorates has an experienced consultant nurse who drives forward the nursing agenda in our multidisciplinary teams. There are plenty of opportunities to access further education and be involved in learning sets with your peers. You will be encouraged to think, reflect and explore ways of how you can continuously provide high quality care and we will support you to actively manage your career development.
