Nurse Associate

We are currently recruiting a full time Nursing Associate to join the primary care team at HMP Elmley. Within this role you will contribute to the health and wellbeing of patients and service users across all health and care settings. As a Nursing Associate you will deliver high quality, personalized, safe, compassionate care in the best interest of people. You will be equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours required across the fields of nursing, providing holistic care and support for patients. You will work independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing. You will recognise and work within the limits of your competence. You will work to a nationally recognised code of conduct and be registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council. (NMC).,

• To support qualified staff in all activities relating to the delivery of high-quality patient centred care.
• Work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient in achievement of their planned outcomes.
• Set up and support clinics for patients.
• To undertake an extended role e.g offender-focused health promotion activities and programmes.
