Outreach Officer

Are you proactive, enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference? Do you thrive on building relationships and inspiring young people? Join our Uniconnect team as an Outreach Officer! The purpose of the role is to improve access to universities for those who are currently less likely to apply for a place.

What you'll do:

deliver dynamic workshops, presentations, and events to engage 16-18-year-olds at Exeter College as well students in years 9-11 in the our central Exeter feeder schools
create lasting relationships with students, Uniconnect colleagues and other organisations
promote the value of university education and open doors for future generations

excellent communication skills (someone who's great at talking to people from all backgrounds)
a passion for education and widening participation
an ability to motivate and inspire diverse groups of students
