Full Job Description

  • Administration of taxable benefits (including PBIK) including medical insurance and adhoc one off benefits.
  • Complete various reconciliations in relation to taxable benefits & provide reports of the same.
  • To maintain an awareness of current and future PAYE developments, keeping up to date with changes that directly affect the firm's employees, related enhancements and changes within the payroll & third-party software, and other internal and external policy decisions that impact upon an individuals pay and reward.
  • Liaising with other teams to ensure the timely and accurate floe of data and information to support the payroll team and related processes, whilst maintaining knowledge of their systems and processes that link with the payroll process.
  • Flagging errors and making corrections in a timely manner.
  • Resolving queries from employees regarding their benefits and tax implications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Responding to queries from HMRC regarding individual employees and payments made, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act.

    Experience of working in an administration role ideally in a payroll, benefits or HR role.
  • A good level of computer literacy including Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of financial data - knowledge of Alteryx or other data manipulation tool is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure to produce work to tight deadlines.
