Full Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Transactions, this role will involve overseeing the end-to-end payroll for Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing. This role manages a team of payroll professionals to ensure a timely and accurate service provision for the business. You will deliver results through excellent legislative and process knowledge ensuring best practice is adopted and team performance and development is maximised.
- A high level of personal integrity and be consistent, open and honest.
- Excellent knowledge of UK Payroll statutory regulations and practical application and delivery of this.
- CIPP (or equivalent professional body) qualified.
- Good stakeholder and communication skills with a clear understanding and demonstrable experience of leading a customer focused business facing service.
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy combined with the ability to prioritize own and team?s work to achieve business and time critical tasks.
- Advance IT literacy and data manipulation and analysis skills.
- Ability to calculate complex payroll calculation manually.
- A relentless drive to improve performance and deliver outstanding results through new, innovative and more effective ways of working.
- Excellent communication skills, works effectively within a team.
- A creative and analytical thinking style, applying tenacity in the face of obstacles.
- A pro-active approach to work and problem solving, and the ability to spot and deal with issues as they occur.
