Do you want a rewarding career supporting service users in the community? Can you inspire, give courage and hope, which will change their lives? If this is you, we would love to hear from you. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the service user and mental health professionals to navigate and coordinate services. Interventions will be both social and clinical, to build resilience and improve wellbeing. This is a key and exciting role, which will suit someone who is innovative, responsive and has the right skills and experience in mental health., Peer Support Workers are experts by experience of their own recovery. You will be expected to draw on your own experiences of recovery, when appropriate, and will be given training on the most effective way to do this. Therefore, the essential criteria for this role is having had psychosis and ideally support from an Early Intervention team.
