Full Job Description

Required from November 2024, a Technician to provide technical and administrative support and practical assistance, primarily to the Drama and Music departments but with flexibility to support other departments as required., A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic Performing Arts Technician from November 2024. The post is 18.25 hours per week, term time only plus 2 additional INSET days. The successful candidate should be confident in the use of technical and practical equipment and with an interest in Drama and Music.,

  • Preparing classrooms and drama studio for use by staff and students, ensuring a safe and tidy working environment
  • Assisting and supporting teaching staff in delivering practical activities in lessons
  • Working with teaching staff in the creation of teaching resources and materials
  • Maintaining, cleaning and repairing equipment (seeking specialist assistance when necessary) in order to ensure safe and efficient operation
