Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Technical Assistant to support the NRSWA permit team to manage all works undertaken on the highway network.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a working knowledge of the operation of permit schemes for the control and regulation of roadworks. You will provide operational support to the team and other colleagues, assist in the preparation of traffic regulation orders as well as collaborating with utility operators to resolve hazards and dangers on the highway network. The role will also include responsibility for processing accurate and timely financial records including the raising of all invoices.

This post is covered by the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
