Personal Assistant

I am a teenage boy with complex health needs, living at home with my family and friendly dog. I am a socially energetic young teenager who loves being involved in activities, which includes spending time with my family going outside for walks and school, I rely on my wheelchair and other equipment to support me to mobilise in my home environment and community; I need supervision throughout the day and evening due to my health needs.

We are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant who can support with afternoons 4.30 to 19.30 Monday and Thursday and 4.30 - 23.00 Friday, including supporting with all aspects of personal care and clinical tasks. The ideal candidate will be energetic and always enthusiastic and a lover of music. You will need to be a good team player and be flexible in your approach. I need you to be calm, devoted, and able to think on your feet., Experience of working with complex care. Full training will be provided to meet our complex health needs; however, it would be beneficial to have experience of Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) and Epilepsy.
