Full Job Description

All colleagues within the College contribute to the success of our students and we actively work to eliminate any barriers at work, ensuring you have the opportunity to thrive., As a Personal Development Tutor, you will play a key role in supporting students throughout their academic journey, fostering their personal, social, and emotional well-being. You will meet with groups of students weekly to deliver engaging and meaningful Personal Development tutorial sessions, designed to empower them to thrive both personally and academically. In addition to delivering these sessions, you will conduct pastoral check-ins with students, offering tailored support and signposting them to appropriate services to help address their individual needs. Through these interactions, you will build positive, trusting relationships with students, understanding their curriculum and offering empathy and compassion to help remove barriers to their learning. You will bring strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Your confidence and approachability will help create a supportive environment where students can reach their full potential.

We have four main sites across the city with state-of-the-art facilities.
