The successful candidate will develop their emergency medicine skills within the physician associate (PA) scope of practice in order to carry out the role of assessing, investigating and treating patients., The successful candidate will work under the direction of Emergency Department consultants to provide emergency care in the various clinical areas within the department: resuscitation, minors, majors and paediatrics. The PA will develop their skills and the role of the emergency department PA under the supervision of a dedicated consultant supervisor. Aside from direct clinical care, the successful candidate will work with doctors, nurses, operational and administrative staff to develop clinical pathways and systems designed to improve patient care., Successful candidates will join a growing team looking to transform our existing offering into a national, best-in-class model for collaborative care. We are adopting a one-floor approach with the emergency department, SDEC and community services to ensure that we deliver timely care.
