Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Physiotherapist to join the All Wales Adult Cystic Fibrosis team based at University Hospital Llandough. The postholder will work across the service in their role and an interest in exercise testing and prescription in respiratory health would be desirable. If you are passionate about patient care and have the drive, commitment and enthusiasm to deliver excellent care for people , we would love to hear from you. We are looking for dynamic and experienced physiotherapist who has a demonstrable interest in working with people with a chronic respiratory condition. The successful candidate will be required to promote effectiveness through service evaluation and active research within an inclusive working culture supporting staff well-being, whilst demonstrating and promoting professional curiosity. We have an award-winning Rehabilitation Model led by AHP's which will drive the ongoing development of our services. Therapies are well recognised in providing progressive innovative services, supporting individuals and teams to achieve their goals.   • have relevant demonstrable skills and previous senior clinical and leadership experience and skills
  • ensure holistic high-quality assessments and care needs are met
  • managing own specialist clinical caseload
  • be able to provide expert clinical support and advice to patients and carers
  • collaborate closely with key stakeholders which will include identifying areas for service development and improvement, to continue implementing transformational change
  • advocate and support patients' rights by promoting shared decision making, respecting individual choice and beliefs, ensuring privacy and dignity at all times
  • demonstrate excellent communication skills work delivering information sensitively and effectively
  • be able to work autonomously using advanced clinical judgement and knowledge within a multi-disciplinary team, holding a caseload planning, delivering and monitoring interventions and to communicate
  • To advise and educate individuals and their families/carers on the management of individual problems to overcome barriers to change and facilitate behaviour change
