Full Job Description

The post holder will be provide leadership and oversight of Psychology provision within North (0.2 WTE) and South Camden (0.6 WTE) Community Team and will hold a senior position within the team amongst the Clinical Team Manager, other discipline leads and the Consultant Psychiatrist., The post holder will lead and manage the psychology discipline, attending to line management, clinical supervision and manage the psychology waiting list.

The post holder will hold a highly complex caseload and develop and formulate specialised programmes of care for service users that are outcome focused and evidence based.

You will communicate complex information in a highly skilled and sensitive manner to members of the multidisciplinary team, care partners and service users, who may on occasion, present with challenging behaviours.

The post holder will maintain a high standard of clinical records, preparing reports for internal use and for external agencies, maintaining good communications with referrers and other professionals involved.

You may be required to convene multi-professional and multi-agency meetings, liaising with outside agencies and professionals and will act as the lead on liaison work and cross-sector partnership working such as GPs / schools/local authorities.

The post holder will act as lead for safeguarding and risk management in the team as appropriate.

You will lead on the quality, safety and continuous improvement of services provided to service users and their families.

You will act as a positive role model and participate in the education, development and mentorship of other staff.
