Full Job Description

We are excited to be advertising for anewly formed post to lead the pathway. This exciting post includes the opportunity to work as a specialist Psychologist within amultidisciplinaryclinical team. You will work alongside experienced and supportive paediatric specialist nurses, multidisciplinary healthcare professionals and partner agencies, to provide dedicated support forchildren and young people accessing assessment for ASD. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist who enjoys working flexibly and creatively., This full time, permanent post will be based within the Community Paediatric Team. The team has not had a psychologist in post for a short time, and therefore the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and shape the role of psychology within the team. A key part of the role will involve leading and developing on from the formation of a new pathway for ASD, training, service development, audit and service evaluation. You will work alongside the Team Manager, Service Manager - Specialist Children Services and Clinical Director to develop informed care pathways. You will offer individual assessment, formulation, and brief intervention to a wide range of children and young people. You will link up with other services and offer effective signposting to enhance the children's and young people's journey.
