Full Job Description

We are excited to offer an internal opportunity for the role of Production Technician - Assembly. This role is essential to our operations, focusing on the assembly of pump packages while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assemble pump packages, including components and sub-assemblies, based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks and inspections to ensure all assemblies meet established standards.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate assembly equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets, resolve assembly issues, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe and productive working environment.
  • Document and report any defects, discrepancies, or issues encountered during the assembly process.

    Proven experience in a production or assembly role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes, particularly in the assembly of complex pump systems or similar equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, assembly equipment, and machinery.
  • A team-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving collective goals while maintaining safety standards.
