Full Job Description

As Project Manager you will effectively lead, manage and co-ordinate projects to deliver agreed business outcomes. This includes delivery of business change, technology and information systems that meet identified business requirements. You'll help us make health happen by

  • Overall responsibility for leading, managing and motivating a cross functional project team
  • Direct accountability and responsibility for delivery of allocated projects
  • Actively develops and maintains own business and technical expertise
  • In conjunction with Group Procurement, negotiates service levels and specifications with senior customer management and suppliers
  • Contributes to, and ensures the set-up of, appropriate contracts for the supply of products and/or services.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day relationship with suppliers (including off-shore resources). Ensuring appropriate monitoring of contracts and Master Services Agreements, authorising or initiating any actions that may be required

    Experience of running complex projects across a number of work streams
  • Running multiple projects or a large project
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities
  • Solid judgement and decision making
  • Acts as internal advocate for the project
  • Resilient and pragmatic, stays calm under pressure
  • Strong leadership and people skills and strong team player
