Full Job Description

You will support both the Stockport Safeguarding Children's Partnership (SSCP) and the Domestic Abuse Partnership (DAP) in the formulation of relevant data and analysis and to ensure that a range of quality assurance mechanisms are in place to assure partners of the quality of provision and local outcomes, ensuring that child and families in Stockport are engaged in the work of the SSCP and that their voices are placed front and centre of our activity.

You will be a qualified social worker, ideally with experience of working strategically with Partners. You will have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to use multiple methods to quality assure practice. You will have a passion for engaging with children and families to drive forward excellence.

The Stockport Safeguarding Children's Partnership (SSCP) and the Domestic Abuse Team sit within the Safeguarding and Learning Service, and alongside colleagues from Family Group Conference, Participation, Workforce Development, and Independent Reviewing Officers. We are an enthusiastic, supportive and experienced service and are keen to share our skills and knowledge - and learn new ones too!
