Full Job Description

Brief duties will include:

-First point of call for our patients and their families

-To ensure patient enquiries are handled courteously, efficiently and empathetic.

-General administrative duties such as emailing, filing, posting of letters, ordering of stationery

-Ensuring reception area is neat and tidy

You will work closely with other administrative staff to ensure continuity of administration support and mutual assistance within the Service. It will be expected that the post holder will be able to think on their feet, provide flexible cover for service opening hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Receptionist. We are looking for a friendly, professional and caring receptionist/administrator.

As part of this very busy team you will provide an efficient, effective, professional and confidential reception/admin service to our large team of clinicians, our patients and other professionals.

The role will encompass dealing with patients and their families, clinical and non-clinical staff by telephone and face to face; subsequently you will require excellent communication skills., The work will be demanding and varied and you will be required to have excellent demonstrable administrative skills, be confident and assertive and be able to work autonomously using your own initiative.
