Full Job Description

The main role of a Recreation Assistant is to lifeguard our swimming pool, lifeguard training can be provided. Other responsibilities for this role include Reception, pool maintenance, gym cover, management cover and running the building, and more. The aim of this role is to have someone that is able to work in multiple areas of our leisure centre. All training will be provided for this Role. More about your role As a Recreation Assistant it will be your responsibility to maintain the Health and Safety of the centre at all times including carrying out cleaning duties and preparing activity areas for all planned sessions. You will make sure all of the Centres equipment is stored in a safe and secure way when not being used. You will work alongside the Duty Manager and report any matters of concern and carry out patrols., The successful applicant will have a friendly, approachable manner and deliver excellent customer service to our customers. You will assist with first aid when required so ideally have some experience. You will ideally have worked within a similar role. Experience carrying out some cleaning duties and maintaining equipment would set you apart from other candidates.
