Full Job Description

  • Be the first point of contact: Handle enquiries from patients, consultants, secretaries, third parties, and the public, ensuring clear communication and providing top-quality service.
  • Coordinate patient admissions: Work closely with medical teams to arrange and manage admissions and transfers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed on time.
  • Collaborate for patient care: Liaise with healthcare professionals across departments to ensure timely and holistic care, contributing to an excellent patient experience.
  • Maintain accurate records: Keep precise, up-to-date records of admissions, transfers, and discharges, supporting efficient decision-making and continuity of care.
  • Insurance and financial clarity: Verify patient insurance details and ensure clear communication with patients and their families about financial responsibilities.
  • Provide essential information: Offer patients and their families important details about hospital procedures, patient rights, and visiting hours, helping them feel informed and supported.
  • Contribute to quality care: Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives, ensuring you adhere to hospital policies and procedures at all times.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work both independently and within a team.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, particularly electronic medical records.
