Have you got experience in working with children and young people with disabilities or challenging behaviour, have you got a passion and motivation for making a difference and promoting health and happiness, if so then we would love you to come and join us in our team of Residential support workers. Kidderminster Short breaks is part of the Worcestershire County Council that delivers children services on behalf of the local authority, we provide specialist day care and overnight respite for children and young people with learning disabilities between the age of 5-17 from across Worcestershire. We have an established and skilled team who enjoy making an impact to young people's lives in Worcestershire. Worcestershire aspires to promote development in our team through training, a supportive leadership team and aspirations to deliver a service to young people. We require further staff to support and compliment our team and work on our development plans to improve our services with hours varying from 12-30hours. As a Residential support worker at Kidderminster short breaks, you will be ambitious for the young people, help them to achieve the goals and maximise their potential. You will work directly with the children and young people, building effective relationships with them, their families and the other professionals involved. The hours will include Morning, evenings, weekends, and sleeps ins. Please see the job description and specification for all further information
