Full Job Description
The Resourcing team is a modern forward thinking service within the People Directorate which manages a range of workforce related systems such as Allocate e-rostering, Trac Recruitment and Electronic Staff Record (ESR).
The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the Rostering Team leader, helping system users with support requests, answering e-mails and telephone calls, dealing with problems or sign-posting to someone who can as well as helping to ensure that data in systems is accurate. Over time you will learn how to configure and manage systems and basic training of new users.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a keen interest in IT systems and technology and have willingness to learn and develop communication skills, including telephone work.

+ Maintain and improving your skills through continued professional development and a structured personal and professional development plan agreed with your Line Manager.
+ Provide administration support with responding to the E-Rostering and Loop email Inbox's.
+ Dealing with telephone calls and enquiries efficiently in a polite and professional manner.
+ Ensure that all data is up to date on the Allocate Systems.
+ Processing of new and existing employees on Allocate Systems.
+ Attend administrative team meetings for peer support, contribute to discussion and sharing best practice

The E-Rostering function is part of a wider Resourcing department, which sits within the People Directorate. Taking up this role in E-Rostering will mean you are part of a progressive Resourcing function, with opportunities to develop skills and career development in all areas of workforce systems and processes.
The salary range quoted is as per NHS Agenda for Change pay structures. This is based on the number of years' working directly within the NHS at the advertised pay band. Experience gained with other NHS Trusts will apply, but candidates without prior experience working direct for the NHS would normally be appointed at the lowest point unless they can demonstrate the equivalent experience and then be eligible for incremental increases in future years.
