Full Job Description

To plan and host group sessions for assessment, support and guidance for learners with Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties. Provide Form 8's and other supporting paperwork for the Commissioning Bodies and Awarding Bodies for Access Arrangements. To work with all staff to provide strategies and guidance in supporting students both in the classroom and on a one to one basis. To complete documentation to appropriate professional/sector standards and funding body audit requirements. To research and recommend Assistive Technology to develop students learning and to promote independent study skills., 1. To plan and host group sessions for access arrangement assessments. 2. Provide support and guidance for strategies to support students in the classroom. 3. To research and recommend Assistive Technology to promote independent study skills. 4. To liaise with the exams team with regards to applications for access arrangements. Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • To carry out all duties in accordance with the College's Health and Safety, Safeguarding & Equality & Diversity policies and procedures, practices and procedures.
  • To carry out any other duties as directed by your Line Manager.
