Full Job Description

Bring your experience working with children and young people with complex needs, or apply transferable skills from related fields, to make a meaningful impact in this role.

What you will do:
Play a key role in providing tailored support to pupils with special educational needs throughout all aspects of the school day
Work with pupils both individually and in small groups supporting them to overcome barriers to learning, delivering teaching, providing positive behaviour support and delivering other focused interventions.
Work as part of a class team, under the direction of the class teacher and trans-disciplinary colleagues, to deliver effective and appropriate teaching, learning and behaviour support in all areas of school life
Monitor and track progress, providing regular feedback as needed
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

We are looking for people with:
Experience of supporting children and young people with complex needs, or transferrable skills from similar fields
A strong level of resilience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs
