Senior Care Assistant - Parkland House, our CQC Outstanding Care Home in Exeter. 24-36 hours available (Days or Nights) to include alternate weekends

Days £13.14-£13.64ph/ Nights £13.52-£14.02ph

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will work as part of a team to provide the best care for the people living in our homes and be a part of the next chapter in their story.

You will get to know them and what matters the most to them so you can support them in the best way possible, recognising their individual choice.

You will lead and co-ordinate the care and support team working within the home whilst running the shift; mentoring, supporting and managing the team to provide the very best person-centred care.

You will be responsible working with the team for the safety and wellbeing of the people living, working and visiting the home.

You will support people with daily living routines including personal care, offer emotional support, encourage social activities within the home and update electronic care plans and risk assessments (from pre-admission onwards) and ever-changing needs of individuals.

Every day is different and hard work is required, but each day, you will go home knowing you have made a difference to their lives.

What you need most of all is a desire to help, kindness and to enjoy making someone's day that little bit easier.
