Full Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to lead on compassionate, high quality psychological care for older people and people with dementia in an established and valued team? If so, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist for a permanent full time position working across our Older Adult inpatient wards. The post is funded via the new Time to Care initiative to expand upon the highly regarded work provided by our inpatient psychologist., This is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to develop clinical leadership skills and further consolidate supervisory responsibilities, alongside working with clients both individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The role will involve a flexible combination of inpatient work spanning services for older adults both with and without dementia. It would suit a Psychologist interested in a varied post including psychological therapy, neuropsychological assessment, group work, carer support, and training of non-psychology colleagues.
