Senior Health Care Support Worker - SCBU

As a Senior Health Care Support Worker you will be responsible for the care needs of the neonate in the low dependency area with minimal supervision.

You will ensure that neonates and their families receive safe, individualised and effective standards of care.

Work within the Health Board Policies and Procedures undertaking tasks appropriate to the level of competency, at the discretion of the senior nurse on duty

Assist in providing a welcoming, caring and safe environment for newborn infants and their families. Assist in creating an attractive family friendly environment.

Various full and part time hours available

The post will incorporate days/nights/weekends/public holidays. The Special Care Baby Unit has 12 cots these are 4 high dependency and 8 Special care cots. The ability to organise and prioritise workload are essential., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
