Senior Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Lead, you'll be part of the 3-person Line Structure Management Team. A maintenance lead role in an integrated work system (IWS) is responsible for reducing maintenance and breakdown losses while maintaining a deep understanding of the relevant engineering and technology. It is based on two principles: drive to zero losses and 100% employee ownership What will you be doing?

• Owning the Progressive Maintenance (PM) system
The maintenance lead is responsible for the PM system for their line(s).
• Building capability
The maintenance lead is responsible for building the capability of operating teams and equipment owners to deliver overall line results.
• Problem solving
The maintenance lead is involved in problem solving and managing key line systems.
• Coaching and developing teams
The maintenance lead coaches and develops teams as a technical coach and resource.

In order to be successful in the role, you'll need certain skills, experience and knowledge, including:
• HNC/HND or Degree in an Engineering discipline
• Continuous Improvement (CI) experience & utilising Lean tools and techniques
• Proven strong engineering and problem-solving skills
• Preferably (food) manufacturing experience
