Full Job Description
This is an exciting fast paced role supporting the senior regional media and communications advisor and working with the wider team in delivering an effective regional press office function and stakeholder engagement around CQC's regulatory activity.
Reporting to the senior regional media and communications advisor, you'll be responding to media enquiries and writing press releases supporting CQC's regulatory activity as well as other core tasks.
This is a great opportunity to work in a busy press office and learn more about the wider health and social care system, as well as helping to promote improvement in health and social care services so people can make informed decisions about care., We want to support you to succeed and be your very best with opportunities for training and development; along with the support of experienced managers and mentors.

You'll have experience independently responding to media enquiries, as well as writing and issuing press releases.
You are good at building and maintaining working relationships and hold yourself to high standards in both your written and verbal communications with others.
You've got excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work under short deadlines.
