Full Job Description

Role: Senior Requirements Engineers (Projects) Working within our Infrastructure Projects you will take responsibility for the full project requirement set keeping it up to date and liaising with stakeholders ensuring their needs are appropriately recorded. You will work with the Project engineering team ensuring requirements are properly understood and verified in a timely manner. These roles are ideally suited to candidates who would like to make a difference in:

  • Leading on the delivery of requirements, verification and validation evidence for engineering solutions across multiple lifecycle phases
  • Leading and managing stakeholder partnerships
  • Supporting the training and development of less experienced engineers through formal and informal mentoring
  • Applying the behaviours of a systems thinker to solve complex problems and implement constructive change

    HNC/HND or degree qualification in a science or engineering discipline or proven experience working in a similar environment
  • Proven experience of delivering engineering projects with a consideration for quality, time, and cost
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and soft skills to work with people and teams to both discover and share key information
  • Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following:
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) skills, including the use of Enterprise Architect, DOORS, Polarion Or Similar
  • Elicitation and development of requirements for complex projects or systems
  • Derivation and allocation of requirements to system elements
  • Development, tailoring and documenting of requirements management processes and procedures at project level
  • Experience with Teamcenter or similar
  • Working within a highly regulated industry, You must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the role and be willing and able to travel within the UK and overseas if required

  • Working within the Capital Engineering Team, we provide the capability to design, coordinate, integrate and verify our Infrastructure Projects, ranging from factory refurbishments to new digitally enabled nuclear facilities; enabling systems to meet current, and potential future customer requirements. We are transforming the way we deliver projects, applying systems engineering at scale using the latest technology. This team is leading the way in redefining and modernising how we deliver; working to develop our practices using new tools to bring about a truly integrated approach from initial conception through construction and operation to decommissioning. Building from our basis of systems thinking and engineering knowledge we will bring about efficiency through-life. Role: Senior Systems Engineers (Infrastructure) Working within our Functional team we form the core of Systems Engineering in the Infrastructure domain. It is our role to drive increased quality by redefining our processes and upskilling our staff to deliver using modern digital tools and Systems Engineering best practice.

    Package: 45,000 - 70,000 (depending on your suitability & level of experience),
