Full Job Description

Our Talent Acquisition team play a key role in finding the best talent to help us achieve our strategic goals. As a Senior SME Specialist Recruiter, you'll be at the forefront of our recruitment efforts, leading the charge in attracting and securing the best talent in your area of expertise. You'll really know your stuff - understanding the intricacies of the roles within your specialism, know the marketplace and competitors, and have a keen eye for what drives and attracts top talent to Virgin Money. We're growing our team and seeking SME's within specialised fields including; Tech, Cyber, Risk, Fraud, and Finance.
What you'll be doing:
+ Lead and own the operational delivery for specific specialist roles.
+ Work closely with Senior Strategic TA Partners and hiring managers to understand immediate and future resource demands, focusing on building diverse talent pipelines.
+ Develop and execute bespoke recruitment campaigns, leveraging our employer brand to attract the best talent in your specialism.
+ Own and deliver on the full end to end delivery lifecycle through to start date.
+ Write compelling job adverts that reflect the Virgin Money tone and attract top candidates.
+ Manage multiple open vacancies, ensuring timely progression and communication with hiring managers and candidates.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders and drive activity for campaigns at pace.
+ Directly sourcing candidates directly using LinkedIn and Talent Insights.
+ Expertise on sourcing underrepresented talent.
+ Conduct qualifying calls with candidates and provide shortlists of candidates.
+ Manage the offer process and support onboarding.
+ Lead meetings with senior stakeholders to discuss roles, provide updates, address challenges and offer solutions.
+ Continuously seek to improve recruitment processes and the candidate experience.
+ Use recruitment data to drive activity, provide insights to influence decisions, share successes and highlight areas of focus.
+ Collaborate with colleagues and lead on critical projects across the team.

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting. These include credit and criminal record checks and three years' worth of satisfactory references. If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre-employment checks - we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.

+ Significant recruitment experience - ideally gained inhouse within professional services or agency where you've specialised in Tech, Cyber, Risk or Finance.
+ A track record of effectively influencing at a senior leadership level to ensure the best outcomes.
+ Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and be highly active on LinkedIn with a flair for creating engaging posts to attract candidates.
+ A strong network of candidates within your area of specialism.
+ A successful background in direct sourcing and headhunting talent for niche roles.
+ Experience of handling a high number of roles with the ability to work at pace and spin lots of plates.
+ Data skills to own reporting for your roles as well being able to tell the story.
+ Experience of creating and managing and delivering campaigns for specialist roles.
+ A proactive, forward-thinking approach with a lust for learning as you stay updated with the latest trends and research.
+ Ability to oversee and manage external partners to drive performance and increase impact.
