Working within the Welcome Area you'll be joining a small and passionate team, the role of Service Assistant plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service. Do you enjoy helping people and have a genuine enthusiasm to make everyone welcome?, Visitors are a vital part of what we do. As the Service Assistant you will ensure our visitors receive a warm welcome, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of their visit. You'll work alongside a small team of staff and volunteers delivering outstanding customer service across the property. Working in our Welcome Area you'll be admitting visitors to the property and providing information. Using the till, you will be selling admission tickets, second-hand book sales and processing payments of events. You will promote our Growing Support strategy and the benefits of actively supporting the National Trust. You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. Hours: 2 days a week on a rota, which includes regular weekends and bank holidays. 420 hours worked between March and November. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the contract. Salary: £11.50 an hour subject to a pay review April 2025 Duration: Fixed Term Contract from 3rd March to 30th November 2025, The National Trust has the motto 'For everyone, for ever' at its heart.
