The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., It's an exciting time to come and join Children & Young People as Service Manager for Neonates, supporting the great work we are doing to become a high quality organisation that provides excellent care to patients.
We are currently looking to recruit a talented and highly motivated Service Manager. As a Service Manager the post holder will support the Directorate Manager by providing operational management and business development of designated clinical speciality Neonatal services within the Directorate. For a short period of time this will include support to Maternity Services.
The post holder will provide timely, efficient and effective operational management support to the Directorate Manager and the speciality leads to ensure that services are responsive and provided to the highest clinical and performance standards., The post holder will also support developing and implementing projects and initiatives to improve cost, service delivery and patient experience to Neonates and will ensure continuous improvement of performance and quality targets.
On behalf of the Directorate Manager the post holder is responsible for the day to day operational issues within designated area of responsibility to ensure the Service Group delivers on its key targets and priorities in a safe, sustainable and effective environment., Equality remains at the centre of the Health Boards policy-making, service delivery and employment practices.
