Sister / Charge Nurse AMAU

An exciting opportunity has arisen for permanent Sister/Charge Nurse on AMAU in Prince Phillip Hospital. The unit comprises of 3 resus beds, 19 Assessment beds, 2 surge beds and an ambulatory unit consisting of 6 spaces. The unit supports operational demand.

You will be expected to ensure a high standard of care is delivered for our patients and work closely with the Site, SDEC & MIU team within a positive and challenging environment., The Health Board is committed to supporting its staff to fully embrace the need for bilingualism thereby enhancing patient and service user experiences. AMAU is a hub of activity, we provide the key to safe effective patient treatment and flow. We manage medical patients and receive all medical emergencies via ambulance within the locality. Our aim is to provide seamless, high quality care for patients using our service.

The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable.
