Full Job Description

  • To provide an effective Skills Hub service at the College's Wellington Road site and any other sites / pop up hubs etc in the future.
  • To be part of the internal CoWC team that ensures the unemployed, including the key demographic of 18 - 24 year olds, have a seamless transition from DWP to a job with appropriate training to meet any skill gaps
  • Liaise with other external stakeholders including The Way and City of Wolverhampton
  • Council to maximise success
  • Ensuring destination information is collected for individuals to meet funding requirements and preparing summary reports
  • Create and oversee schedules and rota's to ensure that the Hub/s is covered with staff throughout its opening hours
  • Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • To create and oversee schedules and rota's to ensure that the Hub is covered with staff throughout its opening hours
  • To signpost customers to relevant provision, including next steps
  • To ensure customers' attendance, participation, outcomes and destinations are tracked and recorded
  • To provide IACG to customers
  • To liaise with key external agencies
  • To support the coordination of marketing, promotional and recruitment opportunities for the area
  • To liaise with internal departments and provide relevant information within required timescales
  • To provide pastoral support to learners as part of the service
  • To provide administrative support to the management and delivery teams
  • To facilitate drop-in sessions and workshops to support clients
  • Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • To carry out all duties in accordance with the College's Health and Safety, Safeguarding & Equality & Diversity policies and procedures, practices and procedures.
  • To carry out any other duties as directed by your Line Manager.
