Full Job Description

You will have a very varied caseload and will work within several MDTs providing support to both inpatients and outpatients. We are looking for someone who is proactive and has the initiative to develop and / or improve the efficiency of services. You will be involved in delivering education sessions to healthcare professionals and patients as well as assisting in the coordinating of the nutrition strategy across the Trust.

We have a full time career-developing opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated dietitian to join our medical team. You will be a part of an award winning, proactive dietetic department at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford.

If you have some clinical experience and want to be able to further develop this in an acute medical setting as well having the opportunity to start developing your skills with service development and support the supervision of Band 5 Dietitians and students, then this post will be well suited for you.

You will join a forward thinking dietetic team which undertakes the training of A, B and C placement students, and also focuses on research and audit in its areas of activity to promote clinical effectiveness in patient care. This is an excellent opportunity in a supportive environment where you will be encouraged to develop both personally and professionally, with the chance to shadow and learn from the other specialist dietetic teams.

If you are an HCPC registered dietitian with a passion for our profession wanting to gain a wide breadth of experience to help your future career then we would welcome your application.
