Specialist CAMHS Practitioner

Tower Hamlets specialist CAMHS has introduced a number of innovations, including at the front door of CAMHS. We are looking for a clinician to join our Front Door team and Early Intervention Psychosis Team. The successful candidates will be working in both our Front Door team and our Early Intervention Psychosis Team and will be innovating new models of care within the large front door team and assessing and providing interventions and group work to families & young people in this vibrant part of East London. The teams aim to offer an accessible, flexible and responsive CAMHS input to young people and their families, and their referrers., Successful applicants will be providing rapid assessments and interventions to young people at the front door of CAMHS, providing consultation to key networks and offering longer episodes of care to young people and families presenting with all forms of psychosis, at risk mental states and bipolar affective disorder., Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our Community
We provide a wide range of community health and mental health inpatient services to children, young people, adults of working age, and older adults in The City of London, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Bedfordshire and Luton. We also provide psychological therapy services to the London Borough of Richmond, and provide Forensic services to the whole of North East London. We provide services in urban and rural settings, sometimes in our inpatient units, but mostly in the community close to where people live. Integrated care is key in making the best use of resources and providing effective care.
